Who is the man? I AM THE MAN.

I am the man because a customer I helped DEMANDED to speak to the district manager and in a v. loud voice (loud enough so that the store could hear) regaled me as sweet, professional, nice and willing to go above and beyond. Also that she is a customer for life.

Sure, retail job, but that was nice to hear anyway, and bully for me.

Six months until Dragon*Con! and yes I did make an icon for it

I'm thinking I might TRY and run an Exalted one-shot during it if we've got time.

My tax return came today. :D FINALLY. I had to get them to re-send it.

Restarting my computer and having my old keyboard work is awesome, although this thing is LOUD AS HELL. XD At least now I can type coherently, and the keyboard recognizes the letter A. And I can type C without typing X. And my G key does not type `. ::dies.::

I'm still getting used to typing on a non-ergonomic keyboard, but a working keyboard beats no keyboard at all!

Also, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to all of you. I am doing nothing to celebrate it; I'm wearing jeans and a black teeshirt, but a lot of my clothes are black. I have a pretty okay track record with V-day, though unfortunately my Valentine is in GA. She should be pleased to note (and will accept this as an indication of my consummate nerdery) that I spent roughly 15 minutes picking out a card for her.

I head out now to a day of debauchery downtown -- gonna catch Zulu (FIRST TIME EVER), Rex, and then spend the rest of the day on a balcony on Bourbon St. thanks to my friend Megan from work.

Earlier this morning perfectcherry came by with the movie Paprika, which I cannot recommend enough. I haven't enjoyed a movie this much in a long time. I'd like to own it on DVD if I can find it. The voice acting (we watched the orginal Japanese with subtitles) was good, but of course it was -- Megumi Hayashibara did the voice of Paprika, and even a small anime nerd like me recognizes that name.

If you can rent it, you should -- I don't really watch movies often and I VERY rarely go to the theater, so for me to gush over a film is pretty out there.
