Okay, so, the purpose of this post is just to make Dave feel guilty if he decides to stop this newest game because he has ADD. Our weekly gaming sessions have gone from The Dreadful Tales of Candlewick Manor (indie game in which we all played 10-year-old orphans, and which had a pretty sick dice system that I really liked) to Changeling: the Lost, which Dave CLAIMS he wanted to play originally. Somehow I doubt the authenticity of this statement. The group is the normal crew: myself, Germaine, Jackie and Chris, with Dave as GM.
Anyway, my character is Regina Mendez; she's a cop in Detroit who was taken at birth by the Fae to Arcadia, and a changeling child was left in her place. During her time in Arcadia she was effectively used as a guard dog to protect something of worth (I haven't worked out her character concept that far), and since returning to the actual world that time's left a bit of an imprint on her (her kith is Beast, and she has the Fang and Tooth contract, and I type this, but have little idea what it actually means). One of her specialties is in parkour, though, which is going to be ultra cool if I can work it into gameplay. In a gritty city like Detroit, I'm sure I can. chauni, if you're reading this, we decided on Detroit as the setting just by my telling my GM about Detroit's dirt roads. :D)
Jackie's playing a stripper, Chris is playing a veteran (read: bum), and I have little to no idea what Germaine is playing, but that's about normal. I made fun of Jackie for playing the social butterfly, to which she replied, "What, are YOU going to do it?"
